Hey! I`m Verlonda
I didn’t create The Happinest Collective because I had it all figured out—I created it because I didn’t. Because I know what it feels like to be doing all the things—raising babies, running a home, checking off to-dos, showing up for everyone else—and still feel like something’s missing.
I didn’t lose myself all at once. It happened in the little moments—somewhere between snack time.
So, I created the space I needed. A space where mamas like you and me could come home to ourselves. A space to breathe, to dream again, to feel seen and supported as women, not just as moms. The Happinest Collective is your soft place to land, your reminder that you still matter, and your permission to rediscover you—one intentional, grace-filled step at a time.

Our Mission is Simple
Our mission is to help moms flourish beyond motherhood by rediscovering who they are, prioritizing well-being, and simplifying life with grace.
I’m a two-time Florida A&M University grad, a wife, a mama to four amazing kiddos, a Disney lover, a community advocate, and a recovering perfectionist (whew, still working on that one). I’m also a natural-born organizer—seriously, color-coded bins bring me joy—and I'm also a woman who knows what it’s like to lose herself in the swirl of motherhood.
In 2019, after welcoming baby #3 and suddenly parenting three kids under four—right as the world shut down—I hit a wall. The postpartum depression I’d silently carried from my first two births finally caught up with me. I was tired, overwhelmed, and quietly drowning behind the smile I wore every day.
That season cracked me open in the best way. I realized that something had to shift, starting with me. From that moment, I began intentionally choosing me, unselfishly—and it changed everything. That journey became Choosing Me Unselfishly, which has now evolved into The Happinest Collective—a space for mamas to reconnect with who they are, prioritize their well-being, and build lives that feel aligned and joyful.
Today, I pour my love for planning, my experience as an event strategist, and my heart for helping women into a movement rooted in self-care, systems, and sisterhood. I’m passionate about helping mamas live on purpose, raise happy, healthy, whole babies, and do it all with a little more ease and a lot more grace.
If you’re ready to find yourself again—you’re in the right place.
You’re not meant to figure it all out alone.
The Happinest Collective is your soft place to land, your source of encouragement, and your launchpad to living a life you love.
